Word Porn Wednesday : Letter of the Day – B

This is me to the T. I have an obsession with books that some people may look at as unhealthy. Welp, screw some people, because books are where it’s at. When I was little I used to read the encyclopedias in my house for shits and giggles. I’d live in a library, no questions asked. I’m obsessed with imaginary worlds and reading is like stepping into a portal and accessing the imagination of someone else. You can’t tell me that isn’t cool. Though real worms freak me out (seriously.. I cry when I see earthworms on the ground) I’m the embodiment of a bookworm. I bought all 4 books of the Twilight series at once and read all 2200+ pages in 3 days.

For my next car, I think the following is more than appropriate…

**Tasty Little Bonus**

Tune in to WTF Wednesdays by Not Now, Breezy. This week’s post describes my life so accurately.

  1. Sounds like a good Ideal lets make it happen we should definitely open up a library. Ill let you run it πŸ™‚ Its crazy that you can read that much at once I need to step my reading speed up πŸ™‚

  2. Bibliophile is such a fabulous word. Also, the idea of living in a library would be awesome – Although, if I were to live in one, could I change the rules about being quiet? Sometimes a shout is required; especially when reading πŸ™‚

    • Oh, I shout all the time when I read, especially when there’s a delicious plot twist involved! If the author is witty, I’m sure to laugh out loud. This is why I don’t read in libraries anymore. Lol. =X

      • Ha ha ha, totally. I once cried on a bus! I was heavily pregnant at the time and just “lived” through the agony of the death of my favourite character. I sobbed all the way to work. Hormones!

  3. Love this! I am a huge book reader and actually prefer having the book in my hands as oppose to reading on an electronic device. I don’t downplay those who prefer the latter, but I prefer having the ability to turn the pages and buying cute bookmarks to place in the book when I want to keep the place on a certain page. Might sound a bit off, but oh well, that’s just me πŸ™‚

    • No I definitely understand that! I love them both equally since they have something great to bring to the table. I am also a fan of delicious little bookmarks, but my shoulder would probably break off if I attempted to carry 80 books with me at once. That’s where the Kindle comes in πŸ™‚ It satiates my craving without having to do physical labor. Lol.
